High Purity Gases, Speciality Gases and Gas Mixtures

The speciality gas division of Ellenbarrie deals with High-purity gases, exotic gases and gas mixtures.

Ellenbarrie makes standardised and tailor made gas mixtures according to the customer's requirement. Typical applications are instrument calibration, lamp and bulbs, arc welding, fire fighting, material testing and research. Standard mixtures include Argon-Carbon Dioxide, Argon-Nitrogen, Argon-Oxygen, Helium-Argon and various tri-mix gases.

In the ultra-pure segment of the market, the purity is customized according to the requirements of individual customers and can reach upto 99.9999%.

High Purity Nitrogen is used in secondary steel refining, casting, heat treatment, desulphurising , lamp industries, research, food packaging, optical fibre technology etc.

High Purity Argon is used as a carrier gas in gas chromatographs, in optical fibre technology, powder metallurgy and micro electronics.
